Great Fines Read Off!

June 2 - August 31

Children and Teens Earn $1 off overdue fines on their materials for every half-hour they read at the library!

CHILDREN and TEENS through age 17 can earn a “Library Buck” for every half-hour they read in the library. If they read to another young person in the library, both can receive credit for their time!

Participants can register at any branch and may read any type of material (books, graphic novels, magazines, websites, etc.) in any language.

Go to the Information Desk to track your time and collect your Library Bucks, and then redeem them at the Circulation Desk!

Please note: Library Bucks cannot be used toward fees for lost or damaged materials, collection, or other charges.

  1. For this program, once I register at a library and I want to do it again the next time, do I sign-up again?

  2. Yes, every time you come into the library to participate you sign in and out at the Information Desk at the branch.

  3. Great program and incentive for the kids and parents. Thank you
